SUMMARY:Recruitment Event
DESCRIPTION:We held a recruitment event on Tuesday 4th June. This involved a short introduction about SIAM\, IMA and the work the chapter was doing\, current PhD students gave a 3-5minute overview of their work\, the opportunity to sign up to SIAM and refreshments.  \n\n\n\nThis was a really good opportunity for students to find out about the variety of research going on in the department\, especially for first year students. Furthermore\, we had many students sign up to SIAM during and after the event.
