Movie Night – Hidden Figures

We held a movie night on Tuesday 18th June. Refreshments were provided before the film. We showed Hidden Figures, the incredible story of three brilliant African-American women working at NASA who served as the brains behind the launch into orbit of astronaut John Glenn, a stunning achievement that turned around the Space Race. 

This was a members only event that was advertised at the recruitment event to promote signing up for SIAM. It was a really nice evening that encouraged new people to attend a SIAM Student Chapter event.
